We previously discussed how the face ages: color, tone, texture, tightening, and volume loss on one of our earlier podcasts. In the past, a face lift has been the top treatment to address aging of the face and laxity issues. But more and more people do not want to have surgery. They are either scared of the risks or afraid of the outcomes (looking like the are pulled too tight or not like themselves). So, is there a non-surgical option to a face lift that can achieve similar results? On today’s podcast, we interview Dr. Suneel Chilukuri on how to use non-surgical devices to create facelift results. Dr. Chilukuri does a non-surgical facelift in his office, called the “C-Lift.” He uses a combination of energy-based devices for collagen stimulation, dermal fillers for proper volume placement, and threads lifts to top off as the icing on the cake. One of the issues with the non-surgical face-lift that Dr. Chilukuri will discuss is that not all patients are the same. There is no “one size fits all.” Everybody will be different in what they need to achieve their results. Some people will need more treatments than others, so cost will vary from person to person. And, patients must be invested in their results with proper home care. He discussed this with the non-invasive body contouring in the previous episode, but it is just as important with the face. Maintenance, or “enhancement,” is also a topic of discussion. Regardless if a patient chooses surgery or not, maintenance is key. We will discuss the myth of “one and done” with a facelift, and why everyone needs enhancement. So, if you are considering a facelift, or you want the results of a facelift without having surgery, today’s podcast is one you should listen to.
