Getting Old Sucks…Where Did My Hormones

Gunther Mueller, the Vibrant Health Guru, has had a very diversified set of life and business experiences.  These include being a professional “ski bum”, commercial fishing in the waters of Alaska, spending a decade in the fine food & hospitality industry, opening 4 restaurants in 5 years, launching an online national food distribution company, managed a million square mile territory for residential home delivery service and was a top distributor for renewable solar energy products. He has also received several awards over the years such as the “Who’s Your Hero Award” and the “Community Service Excellence Award” as well as the “Emerging Small Business of the Year Award” bestowed by his peers. Even with all of that success, he was left feeling hollow.  He felt great about his health, but those around him suffered.  This led him to spend most of his time speaking to both physicians and potential patients about the life altering benefits of looking at healthcare therapies in a very new way…

Today his mission is to positively affect the lives of millions of people, just like you, through education on basic biochemistry.  This includes helping you understand the essentials behind how your body functions.

As people age, there are a lot of things that happen to us. Besides looking old, some of the most common symptoms that people suffer from are fatigue, insomnia, stubborn belly fat, depression, anxiety, irritability, brain fog, decreased sex drive, muscle loss, and joint pain. What most people do not realize is that all these symptoms are related to hormone deficiencies. Although men and women have different levels of hormones, they have one thing in common as they age: lack or energy and difficulty sleeping. These tend to be the top two complaints as they age, and this is because of hormones. No one wants to feel terrible every day. But, besides feeling bad, these hormone deficiencies can also lead to increased risks for serious health issues, such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, heart disease, and diabetes. So, it is not just about how you feel today, it is about your health over the next 20 – 50 years. Testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, thyroid hormone, and DHEA are some of the primary hormone deficiencies that plague both men and women. On today’s podcast, Larry and Dr. Ann will interview Gunther Mueller, the Vibrant Health Guru about hormone deficiencies, why hormone replacement therapy is important, and how nutrition also affects our ability to optimize hormone levels.
