Exilis
This focused RF technology destroys fat and tightens skin without any pain or downtime. It is the ideal treatment for tightening and contouring the face, neck and body. Over a series of four treatments you will see a new tighter shape emerge along with a new sense of self confidence.
What is Excilis?
Both an anti-aging and a body sculpting form of technology, Exilis is now what many medical professionals and cosmetic technicians are turning to when it comes to removing fat and tightening the skin of their patients. Exilis is a non-surgical alternative and as such, is generally a lot safer than more invasive treatments like facelifts and liposuction. This procedure is approved by the FDA and has been in use for several years now.
How Exilis Works
Exilis uses heat generated by radio frequency waves to target both fat and collagen cells, destroying the fat cells in great numbers while stimulating the collagen cells enough for firmer and smoother skin.
One of the great benefits about Exilis is that it can be used not just on the face and stomach (where similar procedures are most common), but pretty much anywhere on the human body.
This means that skin can also be tightened and sculpted around the arms, legs, neck, thighs, back, etc. A typical Exilis session takes between 20 and 30 minutes, but exact times will vary depending on the patient and zone being treated. Multiple sessions may be required if different parts of the body are being treated. Most patients see clear results within a few weeks while others start seeing them almost immediately following treatment. No serious side effects have yet been discovered.
How Exilis Compares to Other Treatments
The medical risks associated with Exilis are conserably lower because it is a non-invasive procedure. And while not as drastic as those achieved with surgical procedures, the results seen with Exilis are more natural looking and require a much shorter recovery period. Exilis is not a laser and is not known to be a painful form of treatment, but some patients may feel slight burning sensations due to the heat generated by the radio frequency waves.

- Discuss your goals and concerns with your medical professional ahead of time. They can adjust your Exilis procedure to best suit you.
- Drink plenty of water both before and after treatment. This will help keep both you and your skin hydrated, helping the recovery process to be as efficient as possible.
- While avoiding strenuous physical activity for a few days following treatment is desirable, engaging in light exercise may actually help to improve recovery and speed up results.
- No serious redness or swelling should occur following treatment, but milder reactions can be eased with an ice pack
